The impact of electronic Word of mouth on the consumption behavior intention of Chinese tourists

With the popularization of the Internet and the development of social media, electronic Word-of-Mouth (eWOM) has emerged as one of the pivotal factors influencing consumer decision-making. This study aims to investigate which characteristics of eWOM significantly impact the consumption behavior intentions of Chinese tourists. Through questionnaire surveys and data analysis, we found that positive evaluations (i.e., overall positivity) and credibility of eWOM have a notable positive influence on the consumption behavior intentions of Chinese tourists. However, the data from this study did not directly support whether the timeliness of eWOM also significantly impacts consumption behavior intentions, warranting further exploration in future research. Overall, this study offers a fresh perspective on understanding the role of eWOM in the tourism consumption landscape and provides valuable insights for tourism enterprises and market strategists.

The advancement of society and the growth of the economy have led to an increased focus on corporate social responsibility. The question of “Does the rise of interest in business ethics and corporate social responsibility (CSR) always mean that business is becoming more ethical?” has garnered significant attention. This article addresses this issue from two perspectives. Firstly, it explains the reasons why organizations may adopt corporate social responsibility and ethical behaviour, supported by case studies of Polpharma Group and BASF Corporation. Secondly, it employs the case of Ford Pinto to demonstrate the consequences for enterprises that neglect their corporate social responsibilities. These case studies illustrate that while the pursuit of ethics and corporate social responsibility does not automatically result in more ethical enterprises, prioritizing social responsibility and ethics remains beneficial for both consumers and enterprises.

With the rapid development of the tourism industry and changes in people’s leisure concepts, yacht tourism, as an emerging tourism form, is gradually becoming a highlight of the global tourism market. Based on tourist experience theory, this article designs a questionnaire from the perspectives of sensory experience, emotional experience, and spiritual experience to investigate tourists’ experiences with yacht tourism products in Sanya. The questionnaire reveals that Sanya yacht tourism products perform well in terms of sensory experience, emotional experience, and spiritual experience, especially in safety, service quality, natural scenery, and mental relaxation. However, some issues still exist, such as a lack of distinctive features in yacht tourism products, a monotonous range of routes, inadequate yacht marina infrastructure, and insufficient cultural experiences. With the rapid development of film and television industry, cost control has become a key issue in the production process. As a new production method, virtual film technology has attracted wide attention for its potential in cost control. This paper aims to explore the cost control and optimization strategy of film and television works based on virtual production technology, in order to provide an effective cost management method for film and television industry. In this paper, literature analysis and network data are used to analyze the overview of virtual production technology and the current situation of cost control of film and television works, and a cost control strategy based on virtual production technology is proposed. It is found that virtual production technology can realize effective cost control and optimization in the creative stage, production stage and postproduction. Through the application of script rehearsal, scene construction, special effects production, editing and color mixing, virtual production technology has significantly improved production efficiency and reduced costs. Virtual production technology provides a new way and method for the cost control of film and television works, which is helpful to promote the healthy development of film and television industry.
