   《北约盟军卫勤保障联合条令》突出反映了自2015年5月上一版条令出版以来北约的变革和军事医学发展实际,并借鉴吸收了近年来北约军队在部署和联合作战行动卫勤保障中吸取的经验教训。
AJP 4.10是AJP-4北约盟军后勤联合条令支撑联合出版物之一,其下从属出版物有北约盟军联合医疗出版物(AJMedP)、北约盟军医疗出版物(AMedP)和北约盟军航空医学出版物(AAMedP)等,这些出版物从各个方面为卫勤军官和医学专家提供更详细的联合卫勤保障资料。北约盟军联合出版物(Allied Joint PublicationAJP)4.10基于AJP-01(D)北约盟军联合条令,并将北约军事委员会出版物(MC)326提出的基本卫勤保障原则和政策转化为作战行动指南。

北约盟军转型司令部(ACT)卫勤处在北约军队卫勤领导委员会(COMEDS)的授权下负责修订AJP-4.10,北约盟军联合作战条令工作组(AJOD WG)和军事委员会医疗标准化工作组(MC MedStd WG)履行北约标准化办公室监督职责,北约军队卫勤领导委员会(COMEDS)军队医疗架构、行动及程序工作组(MMSOP WG)实施医学专业监督,以反映北约政策的变化或执行紧急修订需求。
