  读者服务工作是图书馆存在和发展的基础,是图书馆工作的动力和源泉,直接决定图书馆生存的价值和发展。高校图书馆是高校的一个重要机构,肩负着为高校教育事业搜集和提供信息资料的重担,提高读者服务质量就显得极为重要。高校图书馆应以“读者第一、服务至上”为宗旨,把读者服务工作作为图书馆建设发展的第一要务,努力为读者提供优质高效的服务。基于此,本书从图书馆读者服务、高校图书馆思政教育服务、高校图书馆的服务体系建设、新形势下图书馆个性化服务、高校图书馆文献保护研究进行阐述。由于时间限制,书中难免存在不妥及疏漏之处,敬请读者指正批评。
