Abstract
Supply chain management has become a highly significant field in both academic and business circles. Science, with the help of researchers, seeks solutions to real-world problems in business, such as insufficient information flow, low willingness to share information, and issues related to production and customer service scheduling. Supply chain coordination has a broad body of literature. However, contracts are particularly popular internationally as potential factors that facilitate coordination. The aim of this study is to examine in detail the coordination possibilities through contracts. Therefore, this paper primarily identifies the most commonly used contract types, which are then presented in detail.
