赫胥黎乌托邦书写中的优生学思想研究

Abstract

受西方传统优生学思想影响，阿道司·赫胥黎在以未来乌托邦为主题的创作中将生育控制作为社会构建的重 要手段，同时，他也对数量与质量辩证关系的失衡有着一定警醒。本文将聚焦赫胥黎在不同时期创作的《美丽新世 界》《猿与本质》《岛》这三部小说，以乌托邦文学研究、社会学和生物学视角，结合优生学、优绩主义批判、后人 类女性主义等理论，对其优生学思想的演变进行探究，梳理作者对未来社会设想和忧虑的阶段性变化，以及反思在 “后人类”的语境下可能会出现的生存困境。
