Abstract The protection of tropical rainforest is very important both for biodiversity study and sustainable development. As one of the two tropical rainforests in China, the tropical rainforest of Xishuangbanna has rich species of plants and animals which makes it an important scientific investigation site and an important research base. Asian elephant living in the tropical rainforest in Xishuangbanna China has received attention both at home and abroad in recent years. The northward migration of Asian elephants living in the rainforest has brought attention to the importance of coexistence and interrelation between humans and wild animals. Based on a seven-day field research and investigation in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan province, under the guidance of the Tie Project, a stardom path of tropical rainforest conservation was proposed by participatory observation, semi-structure interview, and practical experience on the past, nowadays and future of the Asian elephant, Sky tree and traditional culture of local Dai people. The rainforest protection should obey the natural rules, maintain the harmonious coexistence between man and nature. In this way, human civilization can develop sustainably.

Abstract More and more original product manufacturers (OPM) outsource to independent third party remanufacturers, due to the lack of remanufacturing infrastructure and technology, which also leads to the cannibalization effect of remanufactured products on new products. OPMs often adopt different channel strategies to deal with the problem of cannibalization. Therefore, this study constructs a supply chain model consisting of original product manufacturers and outsourced independent remanufacturers. OPM can adopt recycling strategy or remarketing strategy to deal with the cannibalization effect of remanufacturing outsourcing products, and explore the impact of recycling cost coefficient and other factors on supply chain equilibrium decision, economic benefits and environmental benefits. The results show that: (1) When the recycling cost coefficient is small, the recycling strategy can better cope with the problem of product erosion, that is, to increase the proportion of remanufactured products in the market. In addition, regardless of the recycling cost, the recycling strategy can increase the demand for new products compared with the remarketing strategy. (2) From the perspective of profit maximization, when the recycling cost coefficient , the OPM's profit is higher under the recycling strategy, that is,, the OPM prefers to choose the recycling strategy when the recycling cost is small. At that time, remarketing can create a win-win outcome for both OPMs and outsourced independent remanufacturers, thus achieving Pareto improvement. (3) From the perspective of environmental impact, when the recycling cost coefficient is greater than a certain threshold, the recycling channel strategy is more environmentally friendly. (4) With the increase of remanufacturing cost, the profitability of original product manufacturers and outsourced independent remanufacturers will decrease, and the adverse impact on the environment will increase.

Abstract At present, with the continuous deterioration of geological disasters in China and the global environment, relative to the relationship between social economy and related resources, it has become a highly valued issue of all sectors of society, or an important part of human future development and survival. This paper first explains the concept of geological hazards, the characteristics of geological hazards, the relationship between geological hazards and geological environment, and then describes the hazards of geological hazards. Finally, through setting up geological hazard warning system, effectively using geological environment in geological hazard prevention and control, strengthening investigation and division of labor construction, geological hazard monitoring, etc. This paper expounds the preventive measures of geological disaster prevention and control engineering.

Abstract In response to climate change risks, some firms have developed carbon disclosure to communicate their climate-related risk management. The literature on various facets of carbon disclosure regarding companies remains limited despite the increased interest in corporate environmental disclosure, particularly the lack of literature review work. Therefore, this article aims to systematically review the available literature by revealing current research evolution and hotspots in carbon disclosure field. By using the visualization software CiteSpace and VOSviewer, this study analyzed 606 research articles of carbon disclosure research that were published between 2000 and 2023 in the Web of Science (WOS) database, and conducted the assessment on journals, reference articles, reference journals, authorship and keywords. The results found the main research themes in carbon disclosure, including ‘strategic climate response’, ‘determinants of carbon disclosure’, ‘consequences of carbon disclosure’ and ‘climate change policy’. In addition, the hotspots on carbon disclosure have shifted to the enterprise internal environment, especially enterprise management architecture. It will help readers gain insight into carbon disclosure research, understand the evolving mechanisms in the field, and conduct future research more effectively.

Abstract In recent years, medical waste pollution has become increasingly prominent, seriously affecting the sustainable development of society and human survival. On this basis, we should focus on plastic medical waste, identify the types of pollution, and respond to measures to lay the environmental foundation for sustainable social development. In addition, since incineration is a common treatment method for large amounts of plastic medical waste, the environmental impact is not a problem of tomorrow but an urgent current problem. In this study, we chose plastic medical Waste treatment as the research object, and then analyzed the effective ideas and measures of its resource treatment, in order to change the traditional Waste treatment way and realize the green development of cities, realize the conversion of resources to wealth. In the research process, this work first analyzed the significance of plastic medical waste recycling, then studied the current main treatment measures, and on this basis identified the problems of plastic medical waste recycling and treatment, to seek the scientific solution measure, and proposed the suggestion to our country plastic medical waste treatment.

Abstract In order to study the impact of ecological restoration of Saihanba on the environment, based on the data of Saihanba from 1962 to 2021, including forest coverage area, forest volume, water storage, carbon dioxide absorption and oxygen release, the ecological environment evaluation system of Saihanba was constructed. By consulting the relevant literature, the relevant parameters are determined as the indexes of forest environment evaluation. The entropy weight method is used to give the index weight, and the TOPSIS method is used to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the indexes. Because the score after restoration is significantly higher than that before restoration, the restoration effect of Saihanba ecological area is remarkable. The forest area of Saihanba was selected as an index to affect the surrounding environment, and the data of forest area of Saihanba from 2010 to 2020, as well as the data of dust weather days, gale days and green area in Beijing Statistical Yearbook in the same period were selected. Using the DEA-CCR model, the target rate of return is obtained, that is, the impact of the increase in the forest area of Saihanba on Beijing 's dust prevention capacity. The results show that with the increase of the forest area of Saihanba, the ability of wind and sand prevention in Beijing area is gradually enhanced.

Abstract This paper uses 3D printing technology to make a 3D model of a complex mountainous area vividly visible as a solid visualisation. Firstly, ArcGIS is used to produce a DEM (Digital Elevation Model) of the mountain area; secondly, 3dsmax is used to convert the model into a solid model and print the model layer by layer in conjunction with the reality; finally, the accuracy of the produced model is evaluated using the method of predicting the medium error. The results show that the visualisation of the digital elevation model was combined with 3D printing technology to produce a personalised and intuitive digital elevation model entity, further enhancing the in-depth application of 3D printing technology in 3D modelling.

Abstract Optimization of the three living spaces has an important scientific guidance value for rational development of national land space and optimization of national land space pattern. Taking Duolun County of Inner Mongolia as the study area, the remote sensing images from 2000 to 2020 were selected and the distribution state of the agglomeration effect of the three living spaces was analyzed. The results show that: (1) the area of production space and ecological space are decreasing, and the area of living space is increasing; (2) the types of nuclear density zones of production space, living space and ecological space are mainly low density zones and lower density zones. (3) the production space, living space and ecological space nucleated density zones are mainly low-density zones and lower-density zones, and the area of low-density zones and lower-density zones all show an increasing trend.
