Abstract
Under the current international background, as an international language, English communication ability is the essential ability of talents in the new era. Therefore, English pedagogy plays a leading role in the higher education system, which shows a positive eff ect on cultivating high-quality interdisciplinary talents. However, according to the current situation of College English teaching, there are still many problems, such as the insuffi cient application of information technology, and the diffi culties in improving the teaching effi ciency and quality. This is what aff ects the mastery of college students’ English skills seriously. Amid the current information education, how to improve the quality and eff ectiveness of College English teaching with the help of information technology and promote the reform of English teaching has become an important theme for College English teachers to explore. Based upon the reality of College English teaching, this paper analyzes the College English teaching mode supported by information technology, and explores the innovative path of College English teaching mode supported by information technology, with the prospect of propounding eff ective reference
